Motorola Solutions Brings WAVE PTX Communication Platform to the Dominican Republic, Enhancing Workforce Connectivity

Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI) has expanded its WAVE PTX communication platform into the Dominican Republic, offering businesses the chance to tap into high-performance, secure, and instant broadband push-to-talk (PTT) services. This new service is transforming the way on-the-go teams stay connected, providing seamless communication without the burden of costly infrastructure upgrades.

WAVE PTX is a subscription-based solution designed to effortlessly link teams across diverse networks—whether 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, or land mobile radio (LMR). This flexibility ensures that organizations can maintain uninterrupted operations, even in critical moments when every second counts.

At the heart of the solution is Motorola’s commitment to real-time communication. Employees can easily share images, documents, videos, and messages across smartphones, tablets, and radios, regardless of whether they’re working from the office or out in the field. The integrated mapping tools offer real-time situational awareness, helping businesses to monitor resources, track team movements, and ensure the safety of their personnel in emergencies.

The TLK 100 and TLK 110 devices, essential components of the WAVE PTX platform, are built with rugged durability and military-grade testing to handle even the toughest conditions. These devices extend coverage across different locations and allow for seamless interoperability with existing two-way radio systems. The TLK 110 model takes safety a step further with features like ‘Lone Worker’ and ‘Fall Alert’. These mechanisms automatically trigger alarms if a worker fails to check in or encounters an emergency, providing an additional layer of protection for personnel working in hazardous environments.

Available through Motorola's authorized distributors in the Dominican Republic, these devices offer organizations a reliable and future-proof solution to keep their workforce connected and secure, no matter the situation.

In addition to the WAVE PTX rollout, Motorola continues to innovate in critical communication solutions. In April 2025, the company launched the APX N70 XE smart radio, specifically engineered for firefighters and emergency medical services, optimizing mission-critical communications. Alongside this, the SVX—a revolutionary video remote speaker microphone—was introduced. It combines secure voice, video, and AI for Motorola's flagship APX NEXT radios, accelerating decision-making processes in the public safety sector.

As Motorola Solutions strengthens its presence in the security and public safety space, the company forecasts solid growth for 2025. It expects non-GAAP earnings in the range of $14.88 to $14.98 per share, driven by a projected revenue increase of 7.7%, totaling $11.65 billion. For the third quarter, Motorola anticipates non-GAAP earnings between $3.82 and $3.87 per share, reflecting a 7% increase in revenue.

With a growing portfolio of mission-critical solutions, Motorola Solutions continues to gain momentum, even as the company faces intense competition in the tech sector. In the past six months, the company’s stock has increased by 12.4%, although it lags behind the 22.5% growth of the Wireless Equipment industry.
