BRINC, the leading American manufacturer of emergency response drones, has successfully secured $75 million in new funding to further enhance its cutting-edge drone technology. This significant investment will be directed toward accelerating the development, production, and scalability of BRINC’s lifesaving drones, which have already made an impact on public safety agencies nationwide.
The funding round was spearheaded by Index Ventures, marking their continued confidence in BRINC after their involvement in the company’s previous two funding rounds. Joining this round as a new investor, Motorola Solutions has formed a strategic partnership with BRINC, further aligning their expertise in public safety technology. Additionally, notable investors such as Mike Volpi and Figma's CEO Dylan Field have also backed the company.
With this new influx of capital, BRINC plans to expand its operations, increasing production capacity to meet the rising demand for its drone technology. The company also aims to enhance its research and development for the next generation of drones while growing its team to maintain the innovation and efficiency that has made BRINC a leader in emergency response.
The collaboration between BRINC and Motorola Solutions marks a pivotal moment in the evolution of automated emergency response. By integrating BRINC’s drones with Motorola’s suite of public safety tools—including APX radios, VESTA 911 emergency call management software, Computer-Aided Dispatch systems, CommandCentral Aware, and Automatic License Plate Recognition technology—emergency responders will be able to deploy drones with the simple press of a button. These drones will seamlessly respond to sensor alerts and feed real-time aerial intelligence directly into Motorola’s public safety systems.
As hundreds of police, fire, and emergency response agencies already rely on BRINC drones, this alliance promises to further accelerate tactical de-escalation, improve situational awareness, and revolutionize crisis management. With these advancements, BRINC’s drones are poised to become an even more integral part of the emergency response toolkit.
Vlad Loktev, Partner at Index Ventures, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Our investment in BRINC reflects our unwavering belief in their vision to revolutionize public safety. The company’s technology is transforming the way public safety agencies handle critical incidents, and we’re thrilled to continue supporting their mission.”
Raj Naik, Senior Vice President of Strategy & Ventures at Motorola Solutions, echoed this sentiment: “BRINC is at the forefront of providing innovative, automated drone solutions that empower public safety agencies. We are excited to invest in a company that shares our commitment to saving lives and improving crisis response.”
Blake Resnick, Founder and CEO of BRINC, shared his excitement about the future: “This investment will allow us to build even more advanced emergency response drones and scale our operations to meet the growing demand for life-saving technologies. We’re incredibly excited about what lies ahead.”
BRINC’s drones are already in use by over 600 public safety agencies across the United States, with more than 10% of SWAT teams relying on them to safely de-escalate dangerous situations.
