Securatec led the implementation of a cutting-edge Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) network that replaced a nearly 30-year-old system, significantly improving communication efficiency, security, and reliability for the STF.
Beyond this, Securatec has strengthened communications for the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard by implementing robust VHF and UHF networks. These solutions ensure seamless and secure communication across various defense and public safety operations. The company has also partnered with major Sri Lankan organizations, including Lanka Electricity Company (LECO), Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), and SriLankan Airlines, providing tailored communication solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Securatec’s commitment to advancing communication technology extends to the introduction of Hytera’s Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (PoC) solutions. These solutions have revolutionized industries such as hospitality, security, and manufacturing, by providing reliable nationwide communication coverage. In a particularly noteworthy collaboration in 2021, Hytera and Dialog Axiata partnered to create an island-wide communication system for Sri Lanka Railways, a project funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Securatec continues to play a pivotal role in maintaining the after-sales service for this vital network, ensuring its smooth operation and safety improvements for the railway system.
