Gatekeeper Systems, a leading provider of video and data solutions for school buses, public transit, and smart cities, has announced the appointment of Hamish Dobson to its Board of Directors as an independent director. Dobson brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the security industry, having held senior leadership positions at Motorola Solutions and Avigilon, the latter of which was acquired by Motorola Solutions in 2018.
Before joining Gatekeeper, Dobson served as Corporate Vice President of Video Security and Access Control at Motorola Solutions. In this role, he led a global engineering team responsible for developing AI-powered physical security solutions that cater to international markets. His expertise spans engineering, product management, and scaling teams to drive growth, particularly in the field of video analytics and security.
