CHICAGO, IL – December 4, 2025 – The Motorola Solutions Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Motorola Solutions, has officially launched its annual grant cycle, inviting global charitable organizations to submit inquiry forms. The Foundation’s mission to drive global impact spans over 60 countries, with grants focusing on three key areas:
- First responder programs
- Technology and engineering education
- Programs that blend the two areas
The grant cycle begins with the submission of an inquiry form. This will be followed by an invitation-only full application process in late March, and concludes with the announcement of grant awards in late August.
To apply for a 2026 grant, eligible organizations must submit their inquiry forms by 11:59 p.m. Central on Thursday, January 22, 2026. No extensions will be granted. To better assist interested organizations in understanding the grants process and funding priorities, the Foundation is hosting a series of informational calls. During these sessions, key details about the program’s structure, focus areas, and strategic objectives will be covered, followed by a live Q&A session.
The scheduled calls are as follows:
- Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Central
- Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Central
- Thursday, Dec. 11, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Central
Charitable organizations interested in participating in the informational calls can register by Tuesday, Dec. 9. All sessions will provide the same information, so organizations are encouraged to choose the most convenient time.
