Motorola Solutions Foundation celebrates another milestone with the conclusion of its 2025 Global Months of Service campaign, marking its eighth consecutive year. This year’s event saw a remarkable achievement, with over 65,000 volunteer hours logged — a nearly 400% increase from 2020. The campaign, which ran through September and October, is a flagship initiative that empowers Motorola Solutions employees to lead volunteer projects, making meaningful contributions both locally and virtually.
Over 60 team captains played a pivotal role in the 2025 campaign, partnering with various nonprofit organizations across the globe. These leaders mobilized their teams, creating tangible change in communities worldwide. In a spirit of friendly competition, the team with the highest volunteer participation earned the privilege of directing a $50,000 USD grant to a charitable organization of their choice.
The event’s success was driven by more than 350 volunteer initiatives across 42 countries, all aligned with the Foundation’s mission to foster safer cities and thriving communities. Some of the standout moments of the campaign included volunteers rejuvenating a local hospital site in Krakow, packing 50,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger in Penang, supporting foster youth in collaboration with Be a Resource (BEAR) Houston, and assembling disaster relief kits for the American Red Cross in Fort Lauderdale.
“Service is in our DNA — it’s not just what we do, it’s who we are,” shared Wesley Barden Touhy, Executive Director of Motorola Solutions Foundation. “We’re proud to turn this commitment into action, helping our communities build the equitable, thriving futures they deserve.”

It speaks volumes about the culture we’ve built here — a culture that thrives on giving back.”
