Motorola Solutions recently unveiled its cutting-edge Pelco portfolio, showcasing an array of advanced security technologies designed to meet the growing demands of modern surveillance. The new lineup includes a variety of products, such as fixed cameras, ruggedized and long-range cameras, smart sensors, and AI-driven analytics.
Key additions to the portfolio are the Espirit anti-corrosion cameras, the ExSite Enhanced Thermal 2 fixed camera, the Halo smart sensor, and the Aeron and Jargar long-range cameras. These devices are engineered to excel in diverse environments, ensuring reliable performance in the most challenging conditions.
At the core of the Pelco portfolio is Motorola's cloud-based Elevate platform, which powers all devices, enhancing camera health monitoring and expanding sensor capabilities. This integration allows for seamless operation, offering security teams better insights and control over their surveillance systems. Additionally, the devices are fully compatible with the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF), ensuring broad interoperability.
Since acquiring Pelco in 2020, Motorola Solutions has completely reimagined the brand’s camera line. By bringing engineering and design in-house, Motorola has more than doubled the breadth of the Pelco portfolio. This transformation is reflected in the introduction of new products under the refreshed Pelco brand, which now unites specialized security technologies from strategic acquisitions, including Videotec, IP Video, and Silent Sentinel.
Pelco’s corporate vice president, Hamish Dobson, emphasized the brand’s commitment to delivering robust, AI-powered security solutions.
